Akshaya means which can never be destroyed.  Introduction:  Akshaya Tritiya is also known as Akha Teej.  It is celebrated as Lord Pashuram's birthday. The virtue of all the work done on this day never gets destroyed. All auspicious work should be done on this day. Akshaya Tritiya, a significant Hindu festival celebrated in India, is known as the "Day of Eternal Prosperity." Observed on the third day of the bright half of the Hindu lunar month of Vaishakha (April-May), it holds immense importance for its auspiciousness and prosperity-bringing attributes.
